Danielle Reyes is calling herself “the most entertaining Traitor of all time” after her performance on The Traitors season 3.
“I knew the assignment. I was to be a traitor,” the Big Brother alum told Us Weekly exclusively. “I’m not [here] to be kumbaya. I’m not here to have any morality in this game. I’m here to backstab a lot and convince you by any means necessary that I am a faithful.”
Danielle’s identity as a Traitor was revealed following a betrayal from ally Dylan Efron and fellow Traitor Britney Haynes during the first few minutes of the season 3 finale, which premiered via Peacock on Thursday, March 6.
While she didn’t take home the prize pot — Efron, along with Dolores Catania, Lord Ivar Mountbatten and Gabby Windey split the money — Danielle still has a lot of love for the winners.
“They did whatever they had to do to get to the final,” she said. “I will always give those four their flowers.”

The Best Traitor of All Time

Danielle is giving Cirie Fields — the season 1 Traitors winner — some well-earned props.
“She played a perfect, amazing game. But I’m curious to see how she would have fared if she would’ve had more legendary gamers in that castle with her,” Danielle explained. “I think Cirie played a flawless traitor game. She’s the best player to have won it.”
Swearing on Her Grandkids
The Big Brother alum is unbothered by this backlash, and even spoke to her family about her potential gameplay before going on the show.
“I told them I was not going to pull any punches. At that moment, when it came up, I just mirrored someone [who] swore on their kids,” Danielle said. “It’s that one particular lie that saved me. … It’s a game. My grandkids are fine. It is what it is.”
Where She Stands With Carolyn

Danielle told Us that she owes fellow Traitor Carolyn Wiger a sit down conversation, but clarifies that the pair are “frenemies.”
“Our communication wasn’t great in that castle, but at the end of the day, that’s just part of human life and human nature,” Danielle explained, noting that she “pulled back” from Carolyn out of respect for her.
“If I see someone hurting and getting emotional, I don’t want to hurt them,” she told Us. “I want to respect her as a woman because she’s overcome so much in her life, and I didn’t know all this.”

“I think it was a conversation that needed to be had,” Danielle said. “It was a great conversation. We cried, we hugged it out. We’re good. Britney will always have a close spot. She’s always dear. I just love her immensely. No ill will. She’s my girl. She’ll always be my girl.”
Her Endgame — If She Was a Faithful

Danielle would have stirred the pot and chosen to banish someone if she made it to The Traitors finale as a Faithful.
“I can’t risk it for the biscuit,” she said. “I prefer to take that gamble and eliminate somebody.”
