Zack Wickham has heard about several Vanderpump Rules alums unfollowing James Kennedy after his recent drama — but The Valley star wants to know what took people so long to publicly cut ties.
“I find it s—ty that the final straw for you all to unfollow him was when he posted a picture with problematic horrible people, not when he was a problematic horrible person to your friend,” Wickham, 31, wrote via X on Thursday, March 13.
Wickham specifically clarified that his post wasn’t about a specific person — instead it was about everyone. “And the answer is yes to everyone you think this is about,” he added.
Before Wickham’s subtle social media shade, Bravo fans pointed out that Scheana Shay, Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix were no longer following Kennedy, 33, on Instagram. None of them have addressed the online shift, which came days after Kennedy apologized for posting a photo with Andrew and Tristan Tate.
“I regret posting a photo with the Tate brothers at an event last night,” Kennedy wrote via Instagram Stories on Saturday, March 8, about the brothers who have faced multiple accusations of sexual assault and human trafficking charges, which they have denied. “I was unfamiliar with their content and the allegations against them. I only knew them as podcasters [who] had posted a viral clip about Vanderpump.”
Kennedy continued: “I have since educated myself and condemn their beliefs. I am sorry to all that I offended.”

Wickham has been outspoken about not being on good terms with Kennedy because of his friendship with Kennedy’s ex Kristen Doute. Their volatile relationship was documented for several seasons when Kennedy joined Vanderpump Rules during season 3. After their split, Kennedy was engaged to Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, who also hinted at a tumultuous relationship when cameras weren’t rolling.
In December 2024, Us Weekly confirmed that police were dispatched to Kennedy’s home, where he lived with then-girlfriend Ally Lewber. The authorities received a call about an argument between a man and a woman and saw Kennedy allegedly grabbing the woman. Officers who responded to the scene did not see any visible injuries.
According to police records, the woman reportedly told the Burbank Police Department that “her boyfriend lifted her up and threw her to the ground.” Kennedy’s legal team subsequently released a statement on his behalf.
“We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations levied by the Burbank Police Department against James,” his attorneys said in a statement to Us after he was released on $20,000 bail. “We understand that there were no injuries and we are hoping that, after careful review, the city’s attorneys will decide not to file formal charges.”

Lewber, 29, broke her silence before Us confirmed their split.
“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and for checking in on me,” she wrote via her Instagram Story. “I’m OK and taking the time I need right now. I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time.”
After the authorities confirmed they wouldn’t be pressing charges, Lewber elaborated on the incident, writing in January, “Thank you all for your support and kindness. I am happy that prosecutors decided not to file against James, as I never desired criminal charges. We had an argument outside of his home related to him drinking again, however, I was not physically hurt.”
She continued: “We are no longer together, but I’ll always support James and wish him the best with his sobriety and healing. Thank you for your understanding.”

“I do hope that James views this as a rock-bottom moment and is serious about just committing to a healing plan vs. just seeing this is something that’s gonna, like, ruin the world tour or residency or whatever,” Shay said on her “Scheananigans” podcast in January. “I’ve noticed his name has been taken off of certain shows and that is a direct consequence to his actions.”
Shay urged Kennedy “to get help,” noting, “And not just to prevent Ally — or some other girl — from being subjected to abusive behavior in the future. But to give himself a chance to live life with healthy relationships. I know he wants those things for himself and he needs to give himself the proper tools to deal with his trauma that doesn’t involve projecting it onto others.”
