Sami Sheen Would ‘Rather Do Anything Else’ Than See Dad Charlie Sheen

Sami Sheen has no intention of meeting up with her father, Charlie Sheen.
“So your dad wants to go to lunch,” Denise Richards told daughter Lola Sheen during the Tuesday, April 1, episode of Denise Richards and Her Wild Things. “Sami’s not gonna go because she doesn’t want to. Your dad wants to see you.”
Denise’s prediction was correct.
“I would rather do literally anything else than go to lunch with my father,” Sami, 21, said during her confessional. Elsewhere in the episode, Sami said she hadn’t spoken to Charlie, 59, for a few months.
“It goes in very big chunks with him, I think,” Sami explained of her fractured relationship with her father. “For the first 13 years of my life, it was pretty bad and then we were OK for a couple of years. Now, it’s just, like, OK.”

Denise, 54, admitted that she understands where her eldest daughter is coming from.
“It hasn’t always been perfect with he and Lola either — with any of his kids,” Denise said. “So, I hope that he does recognize that, because he’s missing out.”
Sami chimed in, adding, “He really is missing out.”
Lola, 19, has different feelings than her sister it seems. (Charlie is also father to Cassandra Estevez, 40, whom he shares with Paula Profit. He and ex-wife Brooke Mueller share 17-year-old twins Bob and Max.)
“I am so close with him right now and I think that’s such a blessing,” she said of Charlie. Lola said elsewhere in the episode that her relationship with Charlie has “improved” over the years and they get biweekly pedicures together.
During their dinner, which was shown during the episode, Lola noted that she could “never picture” her parents being a married couple.

Denise and Charlie were married for four-and-a-half years. They tied the knot in 2002, and Denise filed for divorce in March 2005. The former couple briefly reconciled, but she eventually filed for divorce for a second time in April 2006.
“The girls have been through a lot with their dad. It has been up and down,” Denise said during a separate confessional shown on Tuesday’s episode. She also broke down some of what she went through with Charlie — even after they split.
“I never had to say anything bad about Charlie. He spiraled,” Denise recalled. “I took in his boys. I didn’t publicly say I did. I was in the tabloids all the time and it got to a point where I had to, literally, put myself basically in a bubble.”
Denise noted that she was close to hitting “rock bottom” at one point.

“I became a shell of myself,” she continued, getting emotional. Denise told Charlie that they had to “fake it” in front of the kids.
“At the end of the day, what really matters?” Denise said. “It’s my daughters and my family, and that’s all I care about.”
Denise Richards and Her Wild Things airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
