Pro golfer Rory McIlroy celebrated his Players Championship win with his wife, Erica Stoll, after the pair called off their divorce.
After McIlroy, 35, was crowned the winner of the tournament on Monday, March 17, he was joined on the putting green by Stoll, 37, and their 4-year-old daughter, Poppy. PGA Tour’s official social media page shared a clip via X of the sweet reunion.
In the video, McIlroy walked over to Poppy and picked up his daughter, giving her a sweet peck. Stoll then approached McIlroy and the couple shared a kiss. Poppy handed her dad a sweet prize: a red flower.
“Nice flower,” McIlroy said to Poppy, to which she replied, “It’s for you.”

This is McIlroy’s second Players Championship win in his career. The victory comes less than a year after he and Stoll rekindled their romance after filing for divorce.
Us Weekly confirmed in May 2024 that McIlroy filed paperwork to end his and Stoll’s marriage after seven years, calling it “irretrievably broken.”
“Rory McIlroy’s communications team confirmed today that a divorce has been filed,” a spokeswoman for McIlroy told the Irish Star that same month. “They stressed Rory’s desire to ensure this difficult time is as respectful and amicable as possible. He will not be making any further comment.”

One month after McIlroy and Stoll’s split made headlines, the athlete filed to dismiss the divorce. The couple rekindled their relationship and made their first public event together at the U.S. Open tournament in June 2024.
McIlroy briefly addressed his divorce and reconciliation during season 3 of Netflix’s Full Swing, which dropped in February of this year.
“I’ve always tried to be protective of my loved ones from people that have ill intentions,” he said. I think it was a wake-up call for me to say, ‘Let’s just focus on the golf for a little bit.’”
