The rescheduled wedding of Katie Gaudreau and her fiancé, Devin Joyce, is on the horizon after their original date was canceled following the tragic deaths of Katie’s brothers, Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau.
Katie showed off a save the date for the ceremony via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, March 18, which is set for July 11 in Philadelphia. She placed her hand over the details of the big day, which served as an excuse to show off her diamond engagement ring and wedding band.
The couple was originally supposed to get married on August 31, 2024, but were tragically forced to postpone after Johnny, 31, and Matthew, 29, were struck and killed by an alleged drunk driver while riding bicycles in Oldmans Township, New Jersey the night before the ceremony.
Katie and Devin celebrated their ninth year of dating last week, with Katie acknowledging what a difficult time it’s been for the Gaudreau family.
She shared via Instagram, “9 (official) years full of love and laughter and I couldn’t be more grateful to have you by my side. This past year has tested us in ways we never could have imagined, but our love has always come out stronger. You’ve shown up in ways that mean more than I can put into words, and I know I wouldn’t have gotten through it without you.”

Katie then turned a hopeful eye to the future and the life she looks forward to building with Joyce.
“Since high school I’ve been waiting for the day I get to call you my husband….even though I call you my husband now I can’t wait for July 11th to officially be your wife,” she wrote. “No matter what life throws our way, I’ll always be up for singing off-key and dancing terribly with you — whether it’s in a bar or our little kitchen — forever and more.”
The post concluded, “I thought last year would be our last time celebrating March 12, 2016 but I guess this year has taught me to celebrate our love everyday, every minute. I love you and love celebrating our love, husband.”
