Exit Poll Results 2024 Highlights: After high-octane campaigns and elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, now it’s time to find out what the exit polls have predicted for the states.

Five exit polls – Matrize, Peoples Pulse, Chanakya Strategies, Times Now-JVC and Poll Diary – have predicted a BJP-led alliance lead in Maharashtra while three – Dainik Bhaskar, P-Marq and  Lokshahi Marathi-Rudra – have predicted a hung house in Maharashtra. Electoral Edge exit poll has predicted victory for the opposition alliance MVA in Maharashtra.

While Dainik Bhaskar, Times Now-JVC and P-Marq predicted a hung assembly in Jharkhand,  three exit polls – Matrize, Chanakya Strategies and Peoples Pulse – gave an edge to the NDA alliance while Axis My INDIA and Electoral Edge predicted a clear win for INDIA bloc in Jharkhand.

The results for both states will be announced on November 23.

Health Warning: Exit polls are not always accurate.

Voting for the single-phase Maharashtra elections across 288 assembly constituencies began at 7 am and concluded at 6 pm. The contest is between the ruling Mahayuti alliance – BJP, Shiv Sena and the NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) and the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) – Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and the NCP (Sharad Pawar faction).

In the 2019 elections, the BJP won the maximum number of seats (105) followed by Shiv Sena (56) and the Congress (44).

Jharkhand is voting in the second and final phase of the assembly elections. The first phase was held on November 13. The primary contest in the state is between the ruling JMM-led INDIA bloc and the BJP-headed National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Exit Poll: Maharashtra, Jharkhand Voter Percentage

Maharashtra has registered 65.02 per cent voter and Jharkhand recorded 68.45 percent in Jharkhand as of 11:30 PM. The numbers have surpassed voting in 2019 elections in both the states.
