Delhi Capitals (DC) won the toss and chose to bowl against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their IPL 2025 opener on Monday in Visakhapatnam. DC youngster Vipraj Nigam, making his IPL debut, took the first wicket, but was slammed for 25 runs in his next over. Purchased for an IPL record Rs 27 crore, Pant flopped against his former side on LSG debut. KL Rahul is missing this match, who has been granted special permission to miss the game due to the birth of his child.
