When scanning a UPI-enabled QR code abroad, the app will prompt activation for easy access. Users can select a usage period from 1 to 90 days based on their travel duration. The service can be deactivated anytime to ensure that payments are only made when intended, offering greater control and preventing accidental transactions after returning to India.Transparency and Control Over Currency ConversionDuring payment, users can view real-time foreign exchange rates and any conversion fees applied by their bank.
